History

INTECO is a private company established in Zagreb in 1990. It began to operate with four employees, offering special works in the construction INdustry and TEchnological COnsulting.

Our first commissions included repair and protection of concrete and installing waterproofing systems. In technological consulting, we organised a licensed manufacture of repair mortars and coatings.

Toward the end of 1992, and in the beginning of 1993, the significant development and growth of our company began. In the beginning of 1994, the company had 15 employees and it became what it is today. Since 1993, Inteco has increasingly engaged in special works in building (hermetization of facilities and waterproofing systems). At that time, the cooperation with the Swiss company Sika was intensified, and Inteco took over an important role in the implementation of new technologies on our market. Thus, for the first time, we installed a mechanically fixed waterproofing system (ZEP in Zagreb, 6000 m2) and, also for the first time, applied carbon lamels in the Sika-Carbodur system, in the structural repair of RC slabs of a kindergarten in Zagreb.

Our in-house design office, staff training, and constant investment in equipment and staffing resulted in broadening our special services and operations. In 1999, the company carried out a valuable project for the reconstruction of the Zagreb Airport runway, entering the Civil Engineering industry.

Since the beginning, and up till today, driven by innovative ideas and great enthusiasm of our employees, INTECO started to explore areas of applied science in the most demanding segments of the construction and production industries, having in mind the area of applied engineering.
